David Gani is a Co-Founder and CFO of Let’s Do Something, where he works across strategy, technology, finance, and the organization’s long-term direction. With a background in software development, operations, and team leadership, David has spent much of his career taking complicated problems, breaking them down, and building practical systems to solve them. After October 7, he helped build Let’s Do Something around the belief that some problems are too important to leave to the same old playbook. Today, much of his focus is on a challenge closer to home: the growing divide between Americans who increasingly struggle to understand, trust, or even speak to one another.David believes progress starts by creating spaces where people can disagree without becoming enemies, and where curiosity can replace assumptions. Over 60 years ago JFK challenged Americans to “explore what problems unite us instead of belaboring those problems which divide us.” The challenge isn’t that Americans disagree. We always have. The challenge is whether we can still disagree and believe we are part of the same story.”
