Yona Elishis

Board Director

Yona Elishis is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Pepperdine University’s Caruso School of Law, where she directs the Faith and Family Mediation Clinic in partnership with the Jewish Divorce Assistance Centre of Los Angeles. She trains and mentors law students while helping Jewish families navigate complex civil and religious divorce processes with dignity.

A Wexner Fellow and committed community leader, Yona serves on the boards of YULA High School, Stern College for Women, Eighteen by Noah Tishby, Our Big Kitchen LA, and the Jewish Venture Philanthropy Fund. She is also a founder of Small Wonders, a Canadian organization supporting couples facing infertility.

In addition, she serves on the advisory boards of If You Heard What I Heard, Magen Am USA, and OpenDor Media, where she actively supports initiatives focused on Jewish identity, education, and community engagement. Yona is the proud mother of five children in day school.
